My Merbear is a fully jointed 6" mohair bear, she has glass eyes and a nose made of variegated hand-dyed pearl cotton. She is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing and wears a removable mermaid tail made of pale blue satin and lace. She has "sea shells" strategically placed on her chest to protect her modesty, and has a headpiece of gold thread and glass beads with a matching necklace. She rests on a gilded and sparkled wire "sea shell" filled with glass "jewels" and real sea shells.
